Porsche 918 Spyder (2010 Concept Car)

Porsche unveiled its 918 Spyder Concept today at the Geneva Motor Show. The Porsche 918 Spyder concept is a plug-in hybrid equipped with a 500HP 3.4L V8 combined with two electric motors producing an additional 218HP. The open top two-seater has a top speed of 198mph and can reach 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds. Porsche claims it can deliver 78 miles to the gallon and run 16 hours off battery alone.

Latest reports state that Porsche 918 Spyder may be priced at $630,000 USD. Making it the most expensive Porsche ever built.

Mark Cuban’s appearance on Entourage (seen here with Jeremy Piven, aka “Ari Gold”) . He did a really good job, especially considering it’s a lot tougher to act than people think.  That must have been a lot of fun – doing the Hollywood thing for a day. I wonder if he liked it?!?!

…random thoughts for a monday.. about the new segment we’re developing with working title “King’s Corner” to showcase moguls and their toys… i was just struck by how ridiculous that title is. i mean, no self-respecting king, mogul, or power player would share a freaking “corner” with others of the same elk. they wouldn’t even welcome the idea of sharing the same CITY! so the concept of a “corner” or “club” is just bullshit. these men are solid, separate structures that need LOTS of space. perhaps “ISLAND” would be a better word… each of these men is like an island unto his own… well, that’s an improvement, but sometimes even that is too small. we’ve got to think more global with expanding degrees of power… like the game of “Risk” where the world is divvied to those with the best strategy. well, it’s certainly a better starting point for our title. a couple more “cocktail hours” of batting the ball around and we’ll get it right

i am SO excited about this new project. we will do ALL the bragging on behalf of our brag-worthy friends so they can sit back and enjoy the accolades. stay tuned!!!
